Lol, Orioles trying to cheat by messing with the lights during the AB.

Be glad that they don't have a HVAC system.

Great play by Escobar! Defense improving when it matters, anyway.

They all matter but yeah... It feels better in the ninth.

Parmelee -- great catch -- but Mastro would have made it look easier.

Mastro is in left

That's good news. I was watching Oriole feed and they did not mention it (or I was typing when they did). What a great win this was, and Parmelee got to be a hero.

He'll never be rangy but he's certainly serviceable.

Downright adequate, even? Not a liability, perhaps?

Yeah, thrilled to have 3 wins and to have had chances in the other two games. Nice start.

Parmalee made a nice sliding catch, and on the double in the 8th(?) he barehanded the ball and turned with a good throw. He's shown off a good arm, too.

Win Twins!

I didn't catch it either, so I think they missed it.

Amazing what a little time at one position can do for these guys. Chris isn't a statue in RF. He'll never be rangy but he's certainly serviceable.

He's made some nice plays out there for sure. Hard to know if he's making it look more spectacular because he's a bit slower out there, or if he's better than most of us thought. However, he has gotten the ball in quickly, made a nice play and doesn't look to have misjudged anything so far.

Everything I've read about Parmelee suggests that he's a somewhat athletic guy. There was no reason to expect him to be a statue out there once he saw regular reps in RF (which he received off and on in the minors but never in 2012).

Parm doesn't look athletic, but he hasn't misplayed any balls that I've seen and the other two regulars have. Not fast, but he catches what he gets to, throws okay and seems to read the ball well off the bat.

Everything I've read and seen suggests he's a pretty good defender at first. If he can play an infield position well, he qualifies as "somewhat athletic" in my book. He's not fast but he's not Willingham slow, either. I think he'll do okay out in right.
