The best thing Tyler Robertson has going for him (other than being left handed) is that he's absolutely monstrous looking.

 

Yeah, but by the time he gets to the majors he's facing batters who have seen a ton of guys who look like him and topped out at AAA.

He could play RF tomorrow and CF on Saturday, if Hicks is still struggling.

 

 

Yea I am less concerned with Hicks for some reason. I guess I kind of expected him to struggle at first.

Amen. Clutch pitching there.

 

And nice, confident use of the bullpen by Gardy. Nothing out of the ordinary. But he's good at telling his players "be ready for anything, but here's how I see your role." Not taking out Roenicke, and getting the clutch strikeout that set up the rest of the success, was key.

Game of Thrones was just renewed, so if Carroll retires next year, maybe he can begin a new career.

Pretty surprised no pinch hitter here for Florimon.

 

I like it. Two run lead, you don't have to send the guy a message that he'll be pinch-hit for every time this season. Let him go up there.
