RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Wish I could have seen what our 3rd base coach was doing.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Glen, that didn't take a perfect throw, that was a bad choice to run.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Red home jerseys make this team look like a college or high school team. I hate them.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 By the way, everyone. There have been four runs scored in this game so far. The game is going to clock in at four hours, or close to it. One run per hour is thrilling baseball. CHANGE THE ****ING RULES AND MAKE PITCHERS THROW IN 15 SECONDS MLB

RpR Verified Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 I still like the white pin stripe ones they wore in the sixties.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 I like the white with gold pin stripes the best for home. Do they even use them anymore? Probably were cream.....
RpR Verified Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Form the Wiki: From 1961 to 1971 the Twins sported uniforms bearing the classic "Twins" script and numerals in navy outlined in red. They wore navy caps with an interlocking "TC" on the front; this was adopted because Griffith was well aware of the bitter rivalry between St. Paul and Minneapolis and didn't want to alienate fans in either city. The original "Minnie and Paul" alternate logo appears on the left sleeve of both the pinstriped white home uniform and grey road uniform.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Garza has only given up 2 runs over 10.1 innings as a Twin - it's hard to say that he has a future here, but perhaps he could push for a 40 man spot this offseason?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 The TC logo, when it came out in 1961, had big competition from a cartoon called Top Cat.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 IF, if they score and win, it will be by the boys you do not count on; has happened before.

Not sure, but I have serious opinions about the gold in Twins uniforms. It's awful from a purely design standpoint. Not even opinion, literally how humans translate color. It's terrible and embarrassing from a billion dollar organization.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Let’s see. Would we rather have Sano batting against a lefty with the bases loaded and two outs or against a righty with the bases empty? Trying to score was a bad idea to begin with, but the more I think about it, the worse it gets.

Passionate, but not too smart in my opinion.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 I like white and gold. I always used it in my skydiving jump suits. Black and white and gold. I can see and translate them just fine. But I really don't care that much about the uniforms. I like the powder blue jersey even less, especially just the pullover with no buttons.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 ......and deeper into the Central Cellar........

White and gold are fine, it's the use of a stroke of gold that makes it a bad design decision. It's just messy, confusing to the eye, and generally bad.
