Please stay on topic. This is about Larnach and Kirilloff, not about Baddoo or the FO.

I like what both prospects have been doing but the player the Twins left unprotected Baddoo is doing better than both of them right now.  Imagine if they would have protected him and with what Miranda is doing they could have been in even better shape.

Baddoo would have been behind Kirilloff, Larnach, Rooker and Celestino. His last stop before injury and COVID was Ft. Myers; even Aaron Whitefiled was in AA prior to the shut down. There's next to no chance he'd be anywhere outside of Wichita right now if Detroit hadn't selected him.

Call me crazy, but I'm happy for him.

I have high hopes for our two rookies. Lots of patience. They need to demonstrate some improved smarts. Experience is the teacher. But they need to learn. I am hopeful and excited. Larnach's series against the Tigers was brutal. Let's see how he resets himself after this break.

Call me crazy but he likely would be on the Miranda path and with Buxton hurt and Celestino's bat not that great he might be our center fielder right now OPSing 800 which is better than half our current team.

I would hope they would just DFA Cave if they can't find a trade partner.  Garlick's splits against LH pitching make him more valuable.  I would also keep Refsnyder or Gordon at the MLB level instead of Cave.  They are more likely to be part of the solution/future.  However, it might make sense to send Gordon to get some CF experience if they think he can become a decent CF backup.

That is what AAA is for, not the Twins.

If fans in the stands want to watch might-be players then they will watch the Saints; they pay for ticket to watch major league pro-ball, not AAA pro-ball.

Larnack is not that good, he is now striking out, a lot, and in the field he has weak arm and is slow.  Kiriloff seems ready for the big show.

But, bighat that posts here says that Trevor isn't any good because he has a high SO ratio after 2 months in the majors.

Sidenote to the site owners. These pop up ads while you are trying to type a reply is annoying AF! Can you offer a pay option to avoid this crap? No one pays attention to these ads or clicks on them on purpose. SMH

The ad eliminated some off the article text and I was never able to read it.

I would agree with you in a normal year.  In a lost year, the most important thing is to develop players.  If the best place for Larnach to develop is at the MLB level, so be it.  I am not sure which approach would be best.  IDK his history and I am not aware of what they are working on in practice or how that is going.  Earlier I suggested some time in St. Paul might be in order but other posters have made good points as to why he should stay.  I am open to either but the decision to stay or go is not short-term based.  Keeping him here or sending him down should be based on what's best for Larnach long-term.
