I'd much rather see Jax suck than Shoemaker.

He has 6 runs to give up before matching Shoemaker's last start, and has gotten 1 more out.

All of which is beside the point anyway.

I’d rather go with a veteran like Shoemaker to get at least a couple of decent innings until the wheels fall off. It may be time to dust off the opener or piggy backing fringe starters concepts.

Not to get all up in your face, but Jax is an Air Force vet. Those are US Army troops.

We don't march and call out jodies in the Chair Force.

“Sorry about that, Chief.”  We should have paid attention, there.

Larnach is one of the few reasons to keep watching this team... the dude is not overwhelmed by lefties, and I didn't even think he'd be on the MLB team by this point.

Simmons has somehow escaped getting too much heat this year. But he’s been underwhelming to be kind. Defensively I mean

Sano was the only IF who didn’t make an error today

Not to mention, he covers a lot of ground, too.

Yeah, he has some terrible mental lapses...making him a perfect fit for this team.

Well,  that was one butt ugly baseball game. No pitching, no defense and a perfect tonic for a struggling Yankee team that hasn't scored this many runs since May 15th. Just about every inning was an adventure. And Twins looked bad doing it.

Tomorrow will be a mismatch of epic proportions. Can we just fast forward to Thursday? Not pretty.

Well lah-de-friggin-dah.

Yeah, some of that.  But the intended subtext is that people in those jobs seem to be well baked at any hour of the day. Just part of the local color, moreso at least than at home.
