stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Plays not made when no error is charged.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 WHy is Kepler hesitating on that throw??Keps head isn't right. I think he's taking his struggles at the plate into the field. At least he caught it.
Sielk Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Oh Max. Bad enough that he is slumping offensively but at least until now we could rely on him being a great defensive right fielder.
dex8425 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Donaldson showed no discipline...you just don't show up the ump like that and get away with it. so now a big bat is out of the game. Twins can't score runs without a HR...but I wonder why they didn't challenge the play at the plate. Buck may have been safe...but he probably shouldn't have gone. Kepler then with another weak AB. He joins Sano, Cruz and Rosario however...all having not good series. If Twins pen can somehow hold this lead (unlikely) it will be a very tough win.Agree that Josh was being stupid.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Bet rocco announces Max has a ?????? issue and might need a day , Get him batting 7-8-9 Gotta earn it!!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Why do we just not throw at base stealers
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 One pitch too latewouldn't have been a dp anyway.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 And that's why stealing bases works. Instead of 2 out, one at second, you've got 2 out and runner on third. Crap.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Dyson kills us, and no one elseWhat has he done
twinbythebay Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Umps have too much power. In what other sport does a player get ejected for such pettinessIt happens all the time in the NBA and NHL. There are certain things you can say and actions that you can take that most players and umpires agree are within the bounds of "normal" protest. In baseball, that very much does not include intentionally kicking dirt on the plate. That is one of those things that is guaranteed to get you booted. He could have chirped him a little on his way by, gotten his point across, and not shown up the ump. He was trying to get booted there, and it was selfish and childish.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 What has he doneEverything
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 And that's why stealing bases works. Instead of 2 out, one at second, you've got 2 out and runner on third. Crap. You can thank Max for that runner being on third
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Thanx Max, He even Looks Lost
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I know Rocco is setting this game up for it, but I really, really don't want to see Rogers out there today
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I go back to the top of the inning. Why can't Buxton steal a base? Had he been on second for that E8, he scores standing.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 What has he doneStarted that rally in Pittsburgh SSS
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I know Rocco is setting this game up for it, but I really, really don't want to see Rogers out there todayIf they get Abreu here, then maybe they don't have to see the top of the order again.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 wouldn't have been a dp anyway.Listening on radio
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Everythingexcept score, so he’s done nothing
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Kepler goes through rough patches at the plate, and with the swing he has I have always thought he should hit for a higher percentage. The power last year made up for the relatively low BA, especially since he gets his share of walks. But, it is maddening to see the stretches of weak popups and Ks as he is going through now.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 except score, so he’s done nothingYet.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 What has he doneWell he's got 2 hits today, which doubles his offensive output over the past 3 years put together.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I'm betting that at least Abreu hits the ball and I hope they don't overshift too much.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Listening on radioslow roller to 2nd. They'd have gotten 1.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 ground ball to short. calling it. edit: I blame me.
dex8425 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 slow roller to 2nd. They'd have gotten 1.Esp with Anderson's speed.
T_J Provisional Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 ground ball to short. calling it. I blame me.You forgot "slow"
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 At least we don’t have to make excuses for romo over celebrating again
