ALDS Game Threads

Welcome to postseason 2019. The Twins are in and will be playing the New York Yankees in a best-of-five series beginning on Friday. We will have game threads similar to the regular season and expectations for a great conversation about the game. We have enlisted five of our most frequent volunteers to do introductions. After the Twins win their series, we will do a similar process for the ALCS. 

 

We expect that posters will follow Twins Daily comment policy even in the heat of a playoff game. Even the Yankees should be treated with respect. 

 

Introductions will be handled by Blake, twinssporto, samplesizeofOne, Dave the Dastardly and Diesel, respectively. Go Twins!

Very Twins-like rotation! Lots of depth, but is Blake an ACE thread starter? Probably so against Yankees Daily's #1 starter, David Wells Was Drunk When He Pitched a No Hitter.

I don't even know who samplesizeofOne is... Who put these guys together? Have the lead moderators been announced yet? If Joe West... I mean Glunn... is behind the plate, get ready for fireworks. I'll try not to get kicked out before the 8th.

 

If I had less than 4 elementary school aged kids at home I might be willing to have some fun stats ready 538 style. Unfortunately, you'll all just have to trust my expert opinion at face value without question.

I doubt it will go 5. Blake and I have the first two games wrapped up. It's a deadly one two punch... SamplesizeofOne will then sweep the floor...We should clinch at home and then off to Houston.
