tvagle Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Lewin Diaz for Sergio Romo...this could be Big Papi Part II or A good get
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 So I tune it to find out Dish no longer is showing Fox Sports North. And radios don't work up here on the north shore. Yeah... You can't watch the game but you can choose a side in the epic battle of broadcast rights.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 It says so... in small print on the back of the ticket. And they say owners are dumb...
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Soft tossing Romo? For relief? Not a fan of that. At all. Falvey is out doing himself. Inciting ferocious fear in the late innings.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Looks like it's Romo for Lewin Diaz and another pitching prospect. I'm not that excited for Romo, and I hope they will use him in the 6th/7th inning rather than the 8th/9th.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Actually it’s the exact opposite. Teams are not liable at all. But carry on.from yahoo sports, the white Sox settled with a fan who sued them claiming he was injured while going after a T-shirt that was shot into the crowd. Good lawyers do extract money from teams
amjgt Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 At least on that 6th pitch, Schoop finally swung at a strike (barely)
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Lewin Diaz to the MarlinsGood luck to Lewin Diaz!
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Sergio Romo = Ryne Harper with more wear and tear Falvine once again trying to jump the market....while everyone else targets 100mph power relievers the Wonder Twins corner the market on soft tossing RH "Hope I Fool 'Em" relievers
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Tony ? hope its not sergioBad news: It’s the Sergio one. Good news: it’s the 2012 version of Sergio Romo!
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I sure hope this isnt the only move that is made
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 OK. This is officially getting old here. No offense. 91 mph heat. Cleveland up 8-0. Time to focus and put these games away early!!!!

Blake Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Baseball is a crazy game. The numbers say the Twins should own Nova yet, Nova, so far, is owning the Twins.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I anticipated this response. When I was about 10, we were lighting off fireworks in our back yard. One was almost a dud and lit some dry grass on fire. I immediately tried to run and get water. My mother grabbed both my shoulders and screamed, "OH MY GOD!" as I tried to tear away from her. She eventually ran over my 13 year old brother in the house who came out and stomped it out in flip-flops, then continued playing StarCraft. If my mother had taken me to a game when I was, say, 8 years old and a ball came screaming at my face, she would have been physically and mentally unequipped to do anything to stop it, and even if it was her /responsibility/, I would have still eaten one to the temple.im sorry but if you’re gonna take a baby to a ballgame and sit in the infield lower deck you have to be aware of what could happen, and if you’re not sure if you could protect that child then you shouldn’t even be there

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I sure hope this isnt the only move that is madeI don't think they've left 3 40 man spots open just for Romo. I highly doubt they casted a wide net on so many targets to come away with a single reliever.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Romo = the next Pressly? I thought that was the goal.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 That’s different. That’s a promotional gimmick. You were talking about fouls balls.its not a big stretch, settling is preferable to court a lot of times, It happens all the time

Too many people sitting up close with young kids and not paying attention.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 I do agree with you here. Too many people sitting up close with young kids and not paying attention. Maybe the marketing department could come up with a promotional campaign around the "Possibility of Death". It Might sell some seats.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 People will always try to sue. Skydiving waivers at drop zones use in your face bold and larger fonts to make sure one knows it is their choice and risk, and people still litigate (rarely win, but sometimes do, even though they signed and initial their right to do so away).
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Twin's Trade Bunker conversation: Derek: Hey Thad-O, did you see that wild game the other night? Thad: You mean our epic battle with the Yankers? Derek: No, no, no...I couldn't sleep the other night and tuned in to the Angels and Orioles Thad: Why are you watching that game...thought we decided we were shooting higher than Givens? Derek: I still think there's legs on our Lewis and Kirillof for Trout...but that's not what got me fired up. Tom Wilhelmsen came on to pitch the last inning for the O's and he got 3 outs throwing 58mph Thad: You mean Stevie Wilkerson? You do know he's not a pitcher right? Derek: Oh...anywho we can't get power relievers so let's go the other direction Thad: Soft tossers? Can't break the I-94 speed limit? BRILLIANT Derek: I know right? Let's start with Sergio Romo
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Nova smarter than our pitchers. He doesn't throw a strike on an 0-2 count.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Is this Ian Nova or Max Scherzer on the mound? What the heck is going on?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Only 10 outs left. WAKE UP OFFENSE!!!
