Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 This is a time when Astudillo needs to take those pitches outside the zone.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 That will be second guessed, as it should be. I don't even like bringing Rogers in at all, much less that many pitches. And you really can't let him face Solar or especially Dozier there.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 The Twins can’t be losing games to the Royals
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 If this is the way Baldelli is going to treat pitchers, I want him gone before he destroys someone’s career. It’s JUNE. The Twins have an 8-9 game cushion. Using Rogers AT ALL in a day game after throwing 20 plus the night before is inexcusable. Letting him throw ANOTHER 20 pitches is assinine.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Berrios keeps getting deCrom-ed by his teammates. There goes another win in his column.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 His name is "Rogers."In like... Won't you be my neighbor!!! \m/
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I assumed Rogers pitched better than any of the other relievers would have so good move by Rocco to keep us in the game.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Game's not over yet.but the start was wasted nonetheless
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 How does KC have such a poor record? They have been brutal against this powerful juggernaut from Minnesota.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I have never known May to be a guy who can handle pressure
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Yikes! Walked a guy hitting .125. Not good.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 How does KC have such a poor record? They have been brutal against this powerful juggernaut from Minnesota. The Twins are 5-2 against KC.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I have never known May to be a guy who can handle pressure Totally agree.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 The Twins are 5-2 against KC. That doesn't mean they haven't been in the games. Pesky. Twins with 4 one run wins, and a run differential of only +1. The other a 2 run win.So I take brutal back. Replace with annoyingly pesky. They look a lot better than a team that loses 2 for every one they win.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 C'mon, Trevor, you can blow him away if you throw strikes.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Not many Twins have been a real disappointment this year, but May is at the top of my list.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Come on. Let's be lucky, if we can't be good!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Not many Twins have been a real disappointment this year, but May is at the top of my list. He had a great "Nuke" LaLoosh pitch today.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Piece of cake. Good job, Mr. May.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 And again, I applaud Twins in-dugout management for having Rosario, the off-field OFer, shallow in that situation. Past Twins teams would not have done that.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Need you on base, Ah-rize.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I wonder if any of the Minnesota press contingent will ask Baldelli why he allowed Rogers to throw 20 plus pitches twice in less than 18 hours. Frankly, Baldelli is showing an extreme lack of confidence in his other pitchers. If the Twins don’t have anyone else to get 6 outs without allowing 3 runs against the Royals, they can forget about the playoffs.
