And this is what I mean when I've argued in a more general sense that the game isn't played on paper.

 

Either this team isn't as talented as we suggest they are, or Zimmer isn't capable of getting the most out of it.

You'd think this team would have learned, after they sleep walked into the NFC Championship game last year.

 

Elite teams don't do this.

Elite teams blow teams like this out at home.

I really don't like that our offense seems to be content to be 3rd and 4 or 5.  Too many short second down plays IMO.

 

This team is going to need a defensive or special teams score to win this.  And the offense now has to be pretty much perfect.

How can last years #1 defense be this bad a year later? They need to start rowing the boat!

Terrence Newman needs to hand in the coaching whistle and put on the pads again.

Yep, the Bills have a rookie QB, and they are taking all kinds of deep shots, against a supposedly elite secondary and pass rush.

 

We have an 84 million dollar QB, and only seem to want to dink and dunk all the time.

 

With the 4th O-Coordinator under Zimmer, I'm beginning to wonder if this type of offensive style is not necessarily because of our coordinators, per se, but a neutering by Zimmer. Something like, "we have a great defense, don't take any unnecessary chances on offense. "

I did, had the offense come out in the second half and made it interesting.

 

Hell, if Diggs just brings in that touchdown the game is different, but it's over now.  This is a terrible, inexcusable loss.

Back to back passes to the fullback down 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

What are they even doing right now, do they even know?

 

Either try to come back, or don't and get your $84 million QB out of the game.

Offensive line! Offensive line! Offensive line! You can't play football without an offensive line.

Or a defense that can slow down the dead last ranked offense, at home.

Offensive line was bad, but do was everything else. Every single thing you need to do in football, was terrible. See how they respond on Thursday... I'll be in the air, so I'll miss basically the whole game.

Right, this is the thing that bothers me more.  A rookie QB with a terrible offense and they had their way with our supposedly elite defense.  

 

I know the OL is going to struggle, but the defense should've been able to win this game itself 7-0.

This defense hasn't been right since halftime of the Saints playoff game.

Varying shades of mediocre at best, to awful at worst during that span.

The middle of the field has been far, far too vulnerable.  

 

That and Barr looks like he's sleep walking half the damn time.
