tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Yes.Dozed off during a pitching change and figured it had to be the 9th by now
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Wow. Great base running from Sano. He seems like he wants to be here.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Note to opposing scouts: you may want to try low breaking pitches to Tyler Austin. What's that you say? "We know!!!" Oh.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I didn’t think there was such a thing as a less selective hitter than Sano. Looks like the Twins found him.
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Wow. Great base running from Sano. He seems like he wants to be here. Sano is in the Game Thread?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Dozed off during a pitching change and figured it had to be the 9th by nowNo.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Another $12 beer should cheer you right up.I’ll work on that.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 14-7. Do we need a few insurance runs, now?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Wilson appears to have a pretty good slider. And apparently no other serviceable pitch.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 So we can all agree that labeling Logan Forsythe's hot streak a small sample anomaly is way too boring; that leaves either A) a guy playing like he wants to be in Minnesota next year or a guy playing like he wants to leave Minnesota next week. I'm voting A), in the hopes it will indirectly increase real estate values in the Twin Cities.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Wow. Catching up on this one late-- Looks like Joe Kapp handed off to Bill Brown and then Dave Osborn, and the Vikings went up on Greg Landry and the Lions.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 This is one of the worst baseball games of all time
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 McAllister with a tidy 135.0 ERA for the night's work...I'd suggest this
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Up by a touchdown...I'm hoping they gamble and go for two here.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 What a pitching and defense clinic tonight!!!!
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Tonight must be All Relievers must throw 30 pitches per appearance night
LaBombo Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 McAllister with a tidy 135.0 ERA for the night's work. Let's hope he doesn't go the same route as his cousin who jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 According to gameday, that pitch almost hit Rosario...
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Up by a touchdown...I'm hoping they gamble and go for two here. Mauer could drill a tight pass in the end zone with ease.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 2-pt conversion =GoodYou stole my joke... Boy, this is some brutal baseball from Detroit. Yikes... have fun over there, Gardy.
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 At this pace Big Erv might be eligible to finish this game
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I seriously don’t believe Wilson has gotten a strike (other than balls in play) on anything besides sliders.
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Mauer could drill a tight pass in the end zone with ease....I...this...um...nevermind
David HK Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Heh... How pissed did Addison Reed look in that quickie bullpen shot? "OK- maybe 8 runs is enough to let Addison pitch...."
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I suspect the 20-30 people who haven’t left yet, will do so after the 7th inning stretch.
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Maybe Addison should meet up with McAllister after that drop the bat HR for Niko "we didn't need him" Goodrum...maybe Reed would rather have some Good Rum
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Reed has been having a Ervin-like issue with velocity as well... here's hoping he can regain his lost velocity for next season.
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
