BoofBonser Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Time for the battle of the bullpens I wonder who's going to win ?
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Wilson slowly creeping up to LoMo territory BA wise.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 We have to keep Gibson. He's the guy that can go into New York or Boston and not get rattled. That's maybe the most remarkable thing about Gibson's transformation, because I used to think that his biggest weakness was that he didn't have the kind of stuff to be effective against lineups like the Yankees and BoSox, with disciplined hitters that don't get themselves out on bad pitches.

At least watching on tv
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Mauer should have hit that first pitch he got to cape cod
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Love seeing the hit and run executed It's not as much of a novelty as the drop kick in the NFL, but sometimes it feels like it might be someday.

At least watching on tv Yeah, it seems quiet even for a regular season game, let alone a playoff game. I'm thinking more about how he used to struggle against teams that forced him to throw strikes.

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Fantastic performance from Gibson! His trade value will never be higher. Make him available and trade him now!
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 That was exactly the start we needed from Gibby. Impressive!
curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Just joining the thread now. Hoping the consensus has been to keep Gibson!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 At the game with ashburysteven. As far down the left field line as you can get without being on top of the Monster.IMG_20180726_182826630.jpgAnd thanks again to ashbury steven for helping you post this.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Disappointed that this wasn't part of game thread intro This is the only version of Thunderstruck I listen to anymore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Ao-iNPPUc
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Finally in front of a telly... 1-1 i see. What i miss? Gibson was excellent, but there seemed to be a collective failure on the part of baserunners and middle management to grasp the time-space continuum as it relates to advancing from third to home.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 I really hope we didn’t miss our only chance of the night alreadyYes, yes we did. Nothing more to see here. Ni-night!
