It’s too early for Hildenberger. The only other options are Rogers or Magill. Magill threw like 35 pitches yesterday. He’s likely not available.

So, by my count 4 players left the game most likely due to the heat. Maybe someone should have considered making this game a night game, when it would have been cooler.

 

If I were running the MLBPA, I would file a grievance.

Why not have Lynn pinch hit? He’s a NL guy. Sure, Duke technically has better hitting numbers, but the last time Duke had an at bat was 4 years ago.

 

I get hanging onto Morrison if someone else goes down, but try some creativity Paul.

Bottom of the seventh, 9-9 tie, the kind of game these days that is better listened to than watched, mostly because I expect the Cubs to pull it out. 

Interesting to see that Mejia may not be the savior, any more than Romero, which reminds me--what happened to Berrios last night?

Just turned on the game, and after 30 seconds of being pleased that it's a tie, suddenly it was not. So if the suspense was killing you... you're welcome.
