That's 7 already, by the way.

You'd think with ship sinking and the defense already stretched he could maybe tough it out and play a day game after a night game.

Romero's stuff looks great. He got a little wild from the slide step though. Castro might have to play goalie a little today. I hope he can get a quick inning and not push the pitch count through the roof early. He's gotta be on a limit. I wonder if Hughes will get the middle of this game.

Good movement too?

The fastball has some late tailing and breaking motion, and that's at 95-98 mph.  The slider is 85-88mph so far but has hung a couple.

I think Mauer at DH is more to get LoMo some action at 1st than anything.

I was just wondering if we have the lowest percentage in the league of scoring from 2nd base on a single.    We do it the old-fashioned way one base at a time.
