h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 That 3rd pitch to Sano - right down Broadway.... the Yankees jack out of the stadium. Not Sano these days. Tell me again about his career OPS, and exit velocity.... but ignore 2018's OPS.... it makes your argument more coping for you.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 If I had a K rate as high as sano, I'd be embarrassed. I hope he is too. He's got too much talent to let that continue like it has.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Escobar, Dozier, maybe Kepler and Buxton, and definitely Berrios. Blow the rest up. Including the coaches, front office, and owner. Pink slips. Go home. Turn in your **** before you leave unless you want to get billed for it. Keep Rooker and Royce Lewis, I guess. edit: That includes DickBert, LaVelle, and all the other media hacks. Provus can stick around if he is still interested. Berardino too.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 That talent is quickly turning back into unrealized potential. You knew this had the potential to be a bad year for him with the off field stuff right out of the gate.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 I got the over under on Rodgers for this inning at 2 1/2 runs. Do I have anything to collect?

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Right down the middle and Judge takes that first pitch. Mauer must be inspiring him. Got lucky there.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Keep Rooker and Royce Lewis, I guess. You might want to go check Rooker's strikeout rate at Double AA. And then check his walk rate. I'll wait for you to paint a pretty picture!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Yeah, that needs to be changed. Brutal scoring on that play.Honestly you are right, I think I would petition it if I were the Twins if it affects his ERA

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 I hate plate umpiring. We have a better option. The game needs consistency.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Meanwhile, in Rochester, the Red Wings have one hit through 8 innings and have two batters hitting over .250 (Petit and Buss). Cave is at .175 and Vargas is at .167. No help there. Gordon is hitting .375 and Wade .315 at Chattanooga.AAA is a barren wasteland, other than a couple pitchers.

OTPS300 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Just got home and decided that this awful game is time for me to tell a little story. We were in NYC last year and our trip coinsided with the WC game. Tickets in our price range were in the upper deck center field so we didn't go. We decided to go to the Empire State building that night because we had only done it in the daytime. I looked towards the Bronx and asked a worker if the stadium lights were visible. My avatar is a picture I took that night, the highest set of bright lights are Yankee Stadium during the game. Sorry to add more misery tonight.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 This just in:The Twins are still not close to the level of the elite teams in the AL.A 20-10 August last season is the sole reason they made the playoffs. Other than that one superb month, the twins have been largely mediocre to below average for two seasons and a month. It’s disappointing how they’ve played, but how surprising is it? I’m not sure.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Well, at least we have the Wild and the Wolves to cheer on. Oh, wait.... When do the Lynx start playing?
