Badsmerf Verified Member Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I almost posted in it today. I wrote "meh," in the Chargois thread.... but deleted it. I don't remember the last time posted in that forum. By the time I could have commented on the odorizzi thread, it was already over 10 deep. Without the sportsbar I'd be still forcing snarky comments into the baseball forum and getting naughty points.... here, naughty is slightly encouraged.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I post ‘meh’ to things all the time over there

But speaking them will do no good.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 You won’t catch any flak for posting “meh”. Sure, we’d like to see more substantive opinions posted on topics but sometimes, “meh” perfectly sums up an opinion.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I. Without the sportsbar I'd be still forcing snarky comments into the baseball forum and getting naughty points.... It is game thread season, I have seen snark on those threads a couple of times. You just need your comment to be focused on the game and not something random or unrelated to baseball.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Are you sure that's the standard employed?I'll never post on another game thread again.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 As far as I can tell, the standard MO in a game thread is to talk about anything that isn't baseball-related.

During those awful years, though, most didn’t want to talk much about the games, too depressing. They are what posters make them to be.

And if the community wants off-topic sillinesss, more power to them.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 I do like the game threads. Nothing against the baseball forum Brock, just hard to get a word in with so many people posting. I do feel "meh" about a 27 year old relief pitcher that has no mlb experience. Also, felt the same way about Alex Meyer. At some point, you just need to move on with your life. Should have listened to that advise with some ex girlfriends...

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Funny, I came here after posting a completely unprofessional post and pic in the Eric Aybar thread. Moderators feel free to infract me.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Moderators feel free to infract me.Infract thyself?Yup, that’s exactly what he should do. It’s possible. I know because I’ve given myself warning points on a few occasions.
