Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 If anyone wants to claim they saw Bartolo going (maybe) 4-2 with a 4.04 ERA in 8 starts with us, you're a big fat liar USAFChief 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I wish we could bunt like this all the time!

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Rodgers just looks like he has lost all command of his pitches, outing after outing now.
Blake Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Remember when people mocked the Colon signing? When? Did we stop at some point?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 A day late, a dollar short. Been busy trying to recreate my youth. If you meant Joe Morgan, the manager of the BoSox from some years back, I might have a systems collapse! h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Good move Molitor! Get him out of there......
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 BIG BUX, BIG BUX!!! spinowner 1
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Did Buxton really need to leave his feet there? Seems many OF go out of their way to make catches look more spectacular than they are.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 After his first few starts where he wilted around the 4th inning, I thought that was it for himBut I looked at the past 4 years and how good he looked in those 4 IP and thought...hmmm...what if he just needs to build a little arm strength? Being perfectly honest, I really didn't know or think he would do this. But I did think he could. Glad the could turned to would. My biggest disappointment was not seeing "Big Sexy" on his weekend jersey. h2oface 1
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 That's our gold glove center fielder there.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Easy peasy. Let Buck go get it.

jimmer Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I think he did need to leave his feet.ok. I looked at it a couple times, and I still don't see it. Even if he didn't have to, it was still a great catch.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 My biggest disappointment was not seeing "Big Sexy" on his weekend jersey. Totally! Missed opportunity there.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Lets get this run in. edit: done and done.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I am amazed at how shallow Buxton plays. He sure can make up the ground, though. Makes for high speed into the fence/wall possibilities. So far, mostly he stays on the field, especially after the early career frequency of getting himself injured. Dive away, and land softly. jimmer 1
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 So Belisle is up in the pen. Why wouldn't you just leave Hildy in there to finish? h2oface 1

Dive away, and land softly. He is truly an amazing defender. I've heard/read some say he's the best defensive CF they have ever seen out there. Not sure I'm there yet, because I've seen some great defensive play in CF, but he's awesome. Imagine what our pitching staff numbers would look like without him spinowner, milldam, Dantes929 and 1 other 4
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 ok. I looked at it a couple times, and I still don't see it. Even if he didn't have to, it was still a great catch. He wasn't jumping vertically. He had to dive toward the wall. jimmer 1

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Going to officially label Buxton a STUD. Danchat and spinowner 2
jimmer Verified Member Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 (edited) seriously?I appreciate the productive response. It was just a question, asking other people's opinion about a play in the game. Is that something else we can't do in game thread? Edited August 26, 2017 by jimmer
