Well, thanks for those thrilling sites....we may not make it back home, with all of that to see on the return trip.

Trip down is gonna be fast. I'll try to take pics at your recommended sites to see!!!!

I'm a sucker for the worlds largest ball of twine type stuff.

I've always said... Someone took the time to build it. Now that they have built it... they have put it out for people to come see it.

Their efforts should be validated by a visit.

While it's true that Mejia has stuff sometimes called "filthy," he cannot simply keep throwing the same pitch three times. Good pitchers mix it up A LOT more than that. Otherwise, they get pounced and pounded. Of course, it helps when your fielders don't drop the ball, too...

Something like a game thread intro, then?

Sort of a sad day here in Tucson.  We have something called the "Tanque Verde Swap Meet" that is open every weekend, a sort of giant ongoing yard sale.  There's even been a small circus there for years, made up mostly of part time, semi-amateur locals.  They've had to shut down one of the main acts, the "human cannonball."  The guy who got shot out of the cannon had reached the age where he just wasn't able to do it anymore, and they can't find a replacement.

Seems it's hard to find a man of that caliber.

I used to be a human cannonball for a circus, but one day I came to work loaded and they fired me.

Molitor gone at end of the season, bunch of highly paid guys "phoning it in" and I have had enough of this game.

Early trip for me tomorrow, with a lot of Large and Giant things to see on the way back by Mon.

Thanks Riverbrian, I'm betting my 2 yr old Twin Grand-daughters and their 8 yr. old Sister will be sooooo excited    ;)

Night all, bring home a comeback Twins' WIN!!!!!!

Amazing, disgusting, embarrassing effort by supposedly major league players. Totally unwatchable. I was planning on taking my grandkids to a game this weekend. I am not going to spend good money to watch these guys.

Why would any decent free agent want to come to Minnesota? The culture in this clubhouse must be something. My personal thought is that this type of play starts with the manager.

And, really, how much actual talent is on this club? Sano and maybe Buxton would play on the worst team in baseball. MAYBE.

I'd love to see some kind of ass kicking, but that's not in this club's DNA. Curt out

i think its probable that even if Joe stays put the guy is safe, but yeah. Someone needed to cover.no one expected a bunt.

Agreed, he was probably going to be safe anyway. Not having anyone covering 1B is clearly a mistake on someone's part though.

I know its hard to tell with me.

If you look closer. You'll notice that all those sights are real and... and... on your route.

There were two outs. Why would they be in bunt coverage?

I shouldn't have used the word bunt in front of coverage.

1st base should never be uncovered.

Dick and Roy discussing the state of the pitching staff as if this came out of nowhere.

They're shocked...SHOCKED...to discover the pitching isn't up to snuff.

I get that "hard to tell" part, and thanks for not "pulling a Chief" with a "yes"       ;)   (keep doing it Chief).

Thanks, for those sites ...Son is time pressured, but if we get a break, I got places to take those breaks at   :go:

ANOTHER incident here in Tucson today.  I was walking through the mall after work, and I saw this guy run into the Apple store and run back out with a couple phones.  The cops got him though, and then came back to get my name, address and cell number.  They told me the county DA would be in touch, to let me know the trial date.  They need me to be an iWitness.

Kluber dominated again tonight.

The crowning moment of my (or any) lifetime was watching a Kluber vs Bruce Chen pitcher's duel.

I imagine it was no different than watching Warren Spahn and Juan Marichal one summer day in '63.

Back in ...I wanna say 2010, I got tickets to go see Ubaldo Jimenez vs. Francisco Liriano at Target Field. I think both of them had ERAs in the 1s at the time.

Yeah, that game ended up like 9 - 1.
