Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Mejia isn't exactly a household name. If I had a nickel for every AAA pitcher who confounded a major league team for a few games, I'd have.......a LOT of nickels. Andrew Albers......nuff said.True, it's always tough when the "book isn't out" on someone twinsnorth49 and Blake 2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Escobar heard someone say he's about to be traded ashbury 1
Suicide Skweez Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 There's no excuse not to try and lay down a sacrifice bunt here. None.Pathetic. Does Molitor not teach his guys how to bunt? I can count on one hand the guys on this roster who have any idea how to lay down a bunt. Thats on Molitor.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 I doubt you could get a really solid pitching prospect.I doubt it too. I hang on to him, and continue to shop Dozier.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Ok time to stall now. Maybe run the play clock down.
Darius Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Huge hit. Great baserunning by Sano.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Was there ever a doubt? yes. Blake, ashbury, Puckett34 and 1 other 4
David HK Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Esco picks up Kepler, and everybody else! He may be my favorite Twin.

Guest Guests Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 lol I'm not saying that, just pointing out that both pitchers are guys they just called up, a guy they just traded for has three hits and an RBI. Frazier has 2 hits. Ellsbury, judge, gregorious, and Castro have none.Aggies makes a good point. The Yankees, who for years were considered to have a system that was weaker than the Twins, have gotten good at getting players ready to succeed in the majors. Only a few of them came from trades. Most of them were drafted and developed by the Yankees, and many were low choices. They seem like they figured something out.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 The rain has reached robbinsdale! Riverbrian 1
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 ESCO! I wouldn't be opposed to more runs here.

Their farm system is allegedly loaded.

Suicide Skweez Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Beautiful pieces of hitting by the two Eddies. Would be nice to add an insurance run or two here for BK though!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 It's about to rain cats and dogs, judging by the radar. Although I have zero clue where TF is relative to Minneapolis. Could be somewhere near golden valley or little Canada for all I know. Both places are poor imitations of a Valley or Canada. Aggies7, David HK and twinsnorth49 3
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 ESCO! I wouldn't be opposed to more runs here.Don't we need to roll over and get 2 more outs, so that this inning doesn't get washed out by rain?
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 How many do the twins need to score to not have to go through a 3 hour delay
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Both places are poor imitations of a Valley or Canada. I'm looking for a place called "Just OK forks, MN" 70charger, spinowner, Hosken Bombo Disco and 2 others 5
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Although Yankees played 2 yesterday so keeping them up until 4 AM is fine 70charger 1
