That's what we need to be doing a night after scoring 14 runs on 21 hits, small ball ourselves out of an inning

Bundy appears to have added some 'beer weight' since the last time I saw him.

Possibly following the Al Bundy routine of coming home, sitting on the couch in front of the TV with a beer.  Keep a close eye on him between innings.  If he puts his hand down his pants, he's Al Bundy.

Seriously, is there any need to play small ball with Buxton on first, no outs and the top of the order coming up? He can score on many singles. The pitcher has already walked two hitters, so he just may walk Buxton to second. But no, Molitor decides to gamble two outs, even though card counters now know they're bad odds, and loses both gambles.

Buxton's batting average is disappearing......         :(

Is that what happens after taking a walk?!

Not only that, but dozier was attempting to bunt for a hit. Made less than zero sense

I meant his average w/o factoring in that walk. And to answer your question, no.    ;)     ;)

Sometimes Molitor seems to forget it's not the 1980's anymore. Interesting note: the broadcast team just mentioned that in bp the ball was jumping out of the park, particularly to left. So of course pull-hitting Dozier should not try to take advantage of that.

Not sure why we don't steal first, not after the failed bunt attempt.  I know doziers risp stinks but c'mon.

Of course buck was caught stealing...

They might credit him with a steal as he overslid the bag and was tagged out then

By why do I keep talking about the game? :)

That's an interesting point I hadn't considered.

Well done you.
