Not bad. Probably about the amount I put on that line

I don't think the Twins can pull it off, but 200:1 is too good to pass up.

I'd personally put them at about 80:1 since they were young, and anything can happen in sports.

I'm such a non gambler, I was and am confident this is a minimum playoff contender but I just couldn't make that bet.  That being said if you've taken the Twins at whatever odds they gave you since 1961 you're ahead of the game.

I forget the site but there's a site out there where you can sell future bets like this. I imagine those odds will go up. That might be worthwhile for you to look into

Actually surprised the odds aren't higher, but Vegas knows more than most of us. Suddenly feeling better about my prediction of 80+ wins. Lol

Don't have the money to bet, even were I a gambling man,and would enjoy the payout if I were, and could use it, my payoff would be it actually happening.

Some things are just....PRICELESS!

Remember, the line will change depending on the amount of money bet on the Twins. The odds will shorten in a hurry if a lot of money is bet on the Twins.

I will put money on the Twins when I'm in Laughlin in May. But, I doubt I'll get anything close to 150 to 1.

Current odds are now 35:1 to 50:1 depending on where you look.

What is the value of your bet, now? Can you sell it and make money?

Apropos of nothing Twins, that's an interesting question. Are bets transferable? If so, does anyone trade them like options?

It depends on where you made the bet.  If it's an actual ticket at a casino, they will generally deal with you a bit if it's worth their while.  Online sites it varies to which ones will give you an offer to cash out on tickets like that.

I'm not gonna sell it back. If they make the World Series I will just hedge $3,000-$4,000 or so on their opponent, that will pay for a couple World Series tix, travel, accommodations and enough left over for a stupid bet next year :)
