But much appreciated. Hithertofore i had only been aware of the portion of this song quoted in The Fisher King. It has broadened my appreciation of Jack Lucas.

I hate to ruin a game thread by being that guy who talks about the game, but I'm encouraged by May's ability to settle down after that first inning. Too bad he couldn't finish off McCutchen to finish a clean 4th inning, but still a good bounce back from a rough start.

He did well... Jones inside outed that single and Arenanado did a nice job getting around on a high fastball. 

 

These things happen but I don't think it was bad pitching at all.

Okay, I want to get something straight here. Talking about the game is absolutely acceptable in a game thread. It's encouraged, even. It's a must. But game threads can stray to wherever it goes, too. There are no strict rules in game threads about sticking to topic. So, you can talk about the game or not, it's all good.
