Thanks DaveW

I know this is most likely not in the right topic and it will most likely be removed. I would like to thank you for the great night of reading all the posts. I would love to see you nail this trade down and get credit for your efforts!

[Physics Guy]

When things went south for the Nats getting Sale, I was really hoping the Twins might be able to move Dozier for Giolito+.  Obviously that can't happen anymore, so I would be fine with Deleon, Alvarez and one high upside A guy (versus 2 fillers).  I hope you are right.  I also enjoyed the other thread.

It's called 'false hope' and if it doesn't come to fruition, it becomes a cruel joke.

It's not false hope in the least though...definitely not a cruel joke. The deal structure is in place, they just need to close it out, as I said, my source says it will be tomorrow and De Leon is the centerpiece with one of Avalrez of the masher as the 2nd piece 3rd and possible 4th are up in the air.

guess we all shall see?

You're being very polite. There's another term that came to my mind.

It might be called "Hot Stove League". Every winter is rumors innuendoes and conjecture, sadly in the Twins case, cruel jokes have been played out mostly as the result of actual moves.

Hope / Joke  Hey, that almost rhymes!

It's a style of rhyme I can't remember.

Maybe next September.

I'm picturing Dwight Schrute every time you post that. With a loud click from your ballpoint pen.

No, but I liked Dave's scoop too. It livens things up.

And if the trade falls through... we can always stick a fork in Dave.

It worked for Hunter!

Dave: "So I floated that Dozier trade rumor on TwinsDaily. And they ATE IT UP!"
