USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I'ma pick righhht now. Grossman with 2 bad errors on 1 play to put the Twins down 8-0. Now if that doesn't sum up the season...I've settled on 20 minutes of Molitor on the pregame show, made necessary as filler during a rain delay, explaining that Grossman and Schafer are in the lineup because, with Kepler down, he only has three OFers. In September. 15 man bench time. And the kicker...two of the three were in season minor league free agent scrap heap signs. If that's not a giant middle finger to the fan base, I've never seen one.

"Hey Paul, why don't you do what you have done before--put INFers in the OF?"
theBOMisthebomb Verified Member Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 The 7th inning at tonight's (Friday's) game. Robbie Grossman's two errors on one play, which my wife and I got to witness in person and she didn't believe me was possible.

Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 The worst for me have been the half dozen games where we absolutely implode in the late or last inning. Tight game through 8, maybe not the prettiest thing, but some hard work and a little luck and we're in a tight one late. Suddenly in about the span of 10 min it goes completely to hell. One was last Thursday, someone already mentioned a game earlier this month, but I know there have been at least 3-4 more.
Boom Boom Verified Member Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Worst part for me was that I was in DC in early April while the Twins had a series with the Nats. Would have been a fun trip if it wasn't for the baseball.
