Dozier has hit a HR in his last 7 of 8 games with a total of 9 HRs in an 8 game span - and he's gonna get another 3-4 PAs today.

Great article on Dozier in Fangraphs. Basically, he's learned to hold off on pitches he doesn't hit well and whale at pitches he does hit well. Imagine what would happen if Rosario and Buxton learned that.

This is actually not far off. You remember Rafael Palmeiro doing ads for Viagra? One of the common side effects of overuse of steroids in males is atrophy of the gonads. It's not too often that an otherwise healthy man in his 30's has a problem that would make Viagra necessary. I'd call it a smoking gun but that image is pretty much the opposite of the actual situation.

I was thinking of that when I wrote it up. But honestly, I don't care about PEDs. Maybe BA is a candidate.
