Nature is slowly shaving my head.  I have no use for a comb or brush either.  Finger combing is about all that is required.

nature did that to me at the ripe old age of 21.  I'll warn you though, she doesn't do a very good job and leaves a lot around the sides.  My adivce, get a wet-dry razor and use it in the shower and finish the job.

I'll take that under advisement when that time comes.  I still have enough to play around with yet, but it's vanishing quickly.

Find some new friends.

My former youth pastor and his wife... now lives in Baltimore.

But hey, I like baseball, and I haven't been to a game since the spring... and I haven't watched a real baseball team play since sometime last year.

I'm terrified of the inevitable thinning/balding of my hair... Whenever hair follicles fall out over the course of a day I think "Well, it was a good run, hair." Luckily it still grows back .

How does that work from a genetic standpoint? Isn't the rule that your hair characteristics comes from your grandfather on your mother's side of the family?

It's your mom's fault if you have it.

The baldness gene is on your X chromosome, and you only get that from your mom.  It's more common in men since men only have one X chromosome.

To see if you're at risk, pay attention your mom's dad or those on your grandmothers side of the family.

Why is it that I have no memory of this? It had to be an instant classic. Nothing quite like the Phillies mascot being beaten with a doll.

Doll? Or Tommy Lasorda effigy?

Where were you last year that you saw a real baseball team play?   :P

It's that movie.  Ruined Green Lantern for so many people.  Trying to block it out, myself :-)

Yeah, not the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern...that sucked.  Thinking comic book Green Lantern.

I know that's the rule, but my mom's dad is 88 and still has a fairly nice head of hair.  My dad's side is the side with the receding hairline and bald spot on the top of the head.  That is the model I seem to be following.  I'm looking more and more like the men on my dad's side everyday.

The entire event.  That one is the kind of thing you don't forget (kind of like Nolan Ryan putting a guy a headlock and punching him repeatedly).

I spent hours playing Breakout and Super Breakout before Tetris came along. I think that I was literally addicted to Tetris.

Just saying the word makes me want to go dig the NES out of the closet and hook it up.

Just to tie tetris in with the green theme...

I'm kind of in the same boat, but your mom's dad only gave her one X chromosome.  The other one came from her mom...

That said, I suspect that the rate of baldness is controlled elsewhere, the primary gene for baldness is on the X chromosome.

Exactly, the Green Lantern used to be one of my favourite Superheroes until that stupid movie came out. I mena seriously, Ryan Reynolds? Who casts a Canadian as an American Superhero! It's as backwards as having an Australian play Wolverine!!

yeah, it wasn't about the casting.  Thought he was fine as Hal, but that movie was so bad Ryan Reynolds makes fun of it with his Deadpool character. :-)

I guess if we can allow a Candian to post game threads, we Americans are up for anything.

Or double posting all of your replies?  :)

I'll just play it safe and blame my wife.  I didn't start losing my hair until we got married.  Blaming your wife is the safe play, right?
