wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 He peaked in Super Mario 2, though to this day I'm still trying to figure out if that was an adventure or a bad dream about eating vegetables. Yes. twinsnorth49 1
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Nature is slowly shaving my head. I have no use for a comb or brush either. Finger combing is about all that is required. nature did that to me at the ripe old age of 21. I'll warn you though, she doesn't do a very good job and leaves a lot around the sides. My adivce, get a wet-dry razor and use it in the shower and finish the job.

I still have enough to play around with yet, but it's vanishing quickly.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Why is it that I have no memory of this? It had to be an instant classic. Nothing quite like the Phillies mascot being beaten with a doll. Vanimal46, twinsnorth49 and wsnydes 3
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Find some new friends. My former youth pastor and his wife... now lives in Baltimore. But hey, I like baseball, and I haven't been to a game since the spring... and I haven't watched a real baseball team play since sometime last year.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I'm terrified of the inevitable thinning/balding of my hair... Whenever hair follicles fall out over the course of a day I think "Well, it was a good run, hair." Luckily it still grows back . How does that work from a genetic standpoint? Isn't the rule that your hair characteristics comes from your grandfather on your mother's side of the family?
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Is it safe to say video game/green mascot talk >>>> 3rd day of TR being fired talk?AMEN TO DAT!!!

The baldness gene is on your X chromosome, and you only get that from your mom. It's more common in men since men only have one X chromosome. To see if you're at risk, pay attention your mom's dad or those on your grandmothers side of the family. Vanimal46 1

My dad's side is the side with the receding hairline and bald spot on the top of the head. That is the model I seem to be following. I'm looking more and more like the men on my dad's side everyday. diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Doll? Or Tommy Lasorda effigy? The entire event. That one is the kind of thing you don't forget (kind of like Nolan Ryan putting a guy a headlock and punching him repeatedly).
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I spent hours playing Breakout and Super Breakout before Tetris came along. I think that I was literally addicted to Tetris. Just saying the word makes me want to go dig the NES out of the closet and hook it up.Just to tie tetris in with the green theme... http://hacks.mit.edu/by_year/2012/tetris/.photos.autogen/tetris1_img6080.medium.jpg http://hacks.mit.edu/by_year/2012/tetris/ diehardtwinsfan, James, twinsnorth49 and 1 other 4

I'm kind of in the same boat, but your mom's dad only gave her one X chromosome. The other one came from her mom... That said, I suspect that the rate of baldness is controlled elsewhere, the primary gene for baldness is on the X chromosome. wsnydes 1

Who casts a Canadian as an American Superhero! It's as backwards as having an Australian play Wolverine!! jimmer 1

Thought he was fine as Hal, but that movie was so bad Ryan Reynolds makes fun of it with his Deadpool character. :-)
