My son's softball team was short a player so they called me to play. 

 

A 50 year old playing with a bunch of 22 year olds.

 

I haven't swung a bat or put a glove on for a couple of years.

He's done that a bit lately.  It's encouraging.  Rather see him do it in the 7 or 8 spot, but, I'm not the one working over my wad of gum in the dugout.

I actually am doing a little work today- but not enough to ignore the fact, that once again, we were able to keep that Twins Way® consistency of making sure we give back all the runs we just scored- and usually more.
