Brian didn't talk about his "defense" tonight playing softball.  

 

From what I hear, he wondered why the ball kept getting bigger and bigger...and then it hit him.

I was at the game last night and saw Kepler take some time signing autographs. He seems like a good kid.

 

It was fun bonding with other California Twins fans and seeing Buxton's first home run. In hindsight I should have gone to the left field bleachers and made an offer to buy that baseball. I wonder whether the Twins were able to get it.

Wasn't some gamethreader also at the game he hit his first home run last year? Riverbrian, perhaps? In Detroit?

 

Either way, here's to many more!

If memory serves a small 2 percent stake in the franchise. And a statue. Which is obviously more important. That is the thing about STL. Great franchise. Made good decisions. But they dodged a bullet on this one.
