Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 What is the deal? Seriously, Ervin, what is the deal? One zero. How about one? Just one. We should consider ourselves lucky it's only 4-2
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 My son's softball team was short a player so they called me to play. A 50 year old playing with a bunch of 22 year olds. I haven't swung a bat or put a glove on for a couple of years. What do you think I did in my first AB? Swimg at an outside pitch pulled it to third and it was a DP.
Platoon Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Reached base on an E5... I RULE!!! I had it half right

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 I was at the game last night and saw Kepler take some time signing autographs. He seems like a good kid. It was fun bonding with other California Twins fans and seeing Buxton's first home run. In hindsight I should have gone to the left field bleachers and made an offer to buy that baseball. I wonder whether the Twins were able to get it.

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 That was a good bunt. I saw that Buxton wore the result with dismay, but I hope he appreciates the quality execution.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Buxton hit two homeruns last year. Then I'm glad that I did not buy that ball
Blake Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 And Mr. Grossman has another hit while wearing a Twins uniform. Has someone let Grossman know that consistently hitting a baseball while wearing a Twins uniform is verboten?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 The Angels just keep giving the twins runs
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 They put a third baseman in the outfield and got burned. How dumb does a team have to be to try something like that?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Then I'm glad that I did not buy that ball I was actually there for his first. In Detroit on a Sunday Afternoon. He's gotta have a superstar career after that so I can say I was there for his first.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Then I'm glad that I did not buy that ball I would have bought his third. Why Not
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Ervin ain't long for this game tonight
Blake Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 I want to see the Twins walk Trout to get to Pujols.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Any functioning arms left in the bullpen? E.San is getting hammered tonight.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 My previous post was predicated on Santana getting Kole Calhoun out.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Heh... I keep checking back in--- So we score again, and....... Leadoff double! Good going, Erv! Get going, Erv...
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 On a completely unrelated note, looking at the sidebar to the right of this thread, has the Vikings Journal been taken over by people posting spam?

How dumb does a team have to be to try something like that? That had nothing to do with it. It wasn't an error. He played it perfectly. Mauer's blazing speed just was too much on that one
