Mauerpower Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 3 walks for sano. How many games did he have with 3 walks after being called up last year? Zero. The answer is zero.
Platoon Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I reserve the right to use hustle, grit, and helmet falling off head per run ratio You failed to include sliding into first, the most important of metrics!
pbrezeasap Provisional Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Does Trevor May getting 2 innings in his first outing mean they might actually give him a shot at the rotation?
rghrbek Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Rough start for Park, 3AB, 9 strikes, 3 SO's Are you saying he has only seen 9 pitches total? Otherwise yes to strike out 3 times you would have accumulated 9 strikes.
gocgo Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Am I reading that right? Has he gone down on 3 pitches in each at bat? I mean, I don't want to start screaming bust yet, but that's not good.
alhweiner Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 How much longer are we going to wait for Arcia, Vargas and Park to start hitting? Patience is highly overrated
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 How much longer are we going to wait for Arcia, Vargas and Park to start hitting?Patience is highly overrated I would assume more than 3 AB for Park I would be willing to bet all 3 of them see a lot of at bats in Spring Training.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 You failed to include sliding into first, the most important of metrics! I value smiling and helmets falling off far more than the direction with which one slides!

gocgo Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Not just 3 K's, 6 LOB's with it. Ouch!
gocgo Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I don't think Gameday tracks pitches in Spring trainingYeah, that's right. I remember now...it's been a year! Can't wait for a televised game to see how he looks at the plate. Hey, if your gonna look bad, make it on a non televised day.
Platoon Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 According to my flip phone calculator, it would only take 600 pitches to SO 200 times at this rate. Free swinging like that will never allow us to achieve our offensive goals! Getting into the other teams BP!
James Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Game threads are back! This is a good day. http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view6/4899910/got-to-say-today-was-a-good-day-o.gif

Jerr Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 At work on break, but listening on the radio.....couldn't let a game thread go by without my GO TWINS!!!AS Twins score more!!!!
rghrbek Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 The Maestro is getting an AB!!!! Welcome back. Ah...good morning, good afternoon and good night
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Well - does that mean ABW will be the minor league guy we love this Spring??
Platoon Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 During ST GT posts will not be evaluated until the last 10 days of ST. Veterans like the Chief and Brian will needless to say not have to post during road games, nor will any of their post mean anything. Brian will simply be working on his sophmoric sense of humor, and Chief on his brief but biting commentary. No one expects either to go all out until the games count! I, while not anywhere near veteran status, am comfortable enough in my position as the 25th man on the roster to spend some time watching the end of "the Walking Dead" to see whether Twins scouts should be following any of the zombies for a possible playoff drive FA signing?
Whammy Verified Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Oh boy, here we go Terry Ryan.... Should've added bullpen help. #bullpenissues (Just for clarity that's Bullpen Issues, not Bull Penis Sues)
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Why the **** in 2016 is this game not streamed online or on TV anywhere?

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 Why the **** in 2016 is this game not streamed online or on TV anywhere?I can't believe that this game was not broadcast back in Boston ... so not sure why I can't watch it with my MLB subscription, but it's not showing that there's a game to watch.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 By the way ... I'm home so I'll give an update: the Twins scored some runs, Boston got two back so it's now 6-2, top of the 9th, two runner (Mastro HP, Walker singled), no outs.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 I think you meant Walker struck out. Easy mistake.Um, no ... he got on with a single ... moving Mastro to 2nd, then Beresford hit into a dp ... Walker out at 2nd, Beresford out at 1st, Mastro to 3rd; then Mastro scored on Hicks' double. Edit: This was top 9th. Maybe Walker struck out in an earlier inning? I just got home at this point.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 Okay ... Twins win 7-4. Yay Twins!
