Can't he's on scholarship.

Dozier was also smart enough to file for the "opposite field" exemption, which is only available to Twins in A ball, or to players who file the exemption with the Twins within two years of their first professional appearance.

The Twins are on their third pitcher and not one of em is capable of hitting 90 on a consistent basis.

Nu uhh, BroChiefus.   Was driving like knievel to get my daughter to her 3D chess lesson at Star Trek immersion school, and Achter passed on our left side in the only Porsche Cayenne in the world that passes the eye test for being the first manned Earth vehicle to land on Mars.

PS We were in the {far left} carpool lane when it happened.   INORIGHT!

It sounds like a lot of people are discouraged, but this game is not yet half over and maybe the Twins will come back.

I wish that there were more fans in the stands. A full ballpark might elicit more energy.

Do you think the average fan is priced out of the game these days, back in the 80's and 90's in a Dome of all places the games were sold out........Other reasons??

You can find tix for like $10 a piece on stubhub. Average fan isn't priced out, average fan just has a lot more options what to do on a Thursday night.

I think lowering beer prices to $5-$6 a pint would help a TON personally.

Well i got to TicketKingonline.com and buy my $4 tickets and stand for awhile on first level and sometimes find an open seat later in game, that is if only by myself. :)

You might be able to find an open seat later in tonight's game.

I wonder if the ushers are lenient in letting people move from $10 seats to better seats when there are thousands of better seats like tonight.

I went to a Yankee game (on a Saturday) with my brother and sister in town three weeks ago. We got our tickets for $6 total (3 tickets) including fees, and we were actually in the 3rd row, (400 level) but along the third base line.

Fans aren't priced out due to ticket prices, it's all the other bullcrap that the stadiums charge once you get inside.

haven't tried it at target field. But I know most stadiums they are insanely aggressive against it.

It is now hard to imagine a world without the Twins Daily page, but it was not around in the 80's and 90's.  Now you have thousands of fans that would rather follow the game on a TD game thread and are less likely to go to the ball park.

The Twins drew almost the exact same number of people in 2014 as they did in 1991.

People aren't priced out of going to a ballpark.

And my guess would be if Twins Daily has any effect at all on attendance, it's to increase it, ever so slightly.

I took my grandkids to the Tucson Zoo today.  Turns out it's not a very big zoo.  In fact, they only have one animal on display, a dog.

It was a Shih Tzu.

That would be disappointing under any cirmcumstances, but even more so if it was not a Suburban-sized Tzu that was brought back to life by Spielberg.

Either way, any chance it will show up in the flash flood waterfall diorama in whichever museum in Phoenix that you pay ten dollars a head to pan for gold that they take from you and then you end up in a mock underground prison?

You lost me somewhere in there, friend.
