I think you said something then too. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. Edited September 18, 2015 by blairpaul715

Damned if you do, damned if you dont. In the 2nd inning where you need a guy to go multiple innings anyways, Graham is a vastly superior option then Achter.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Should i get excited that Rosario is on base?Depends on how often you feel that it happens....http://www.historyrundown.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Moon-landing-400x372.jpg glunn 1

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 The game has come to that. Judging the merits of an intentional walk.I get your joke, by the way Walking with an intentional gait, because of he.... well, you know. LaBombo 1
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Well the outcome is the same..... and that is said with not wanting Achter in there either. No, no it isn't at all.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I just realized Pelfrey is starting tomorrow. That explains why he is not available for long relief tonight . By the way, the Twins do not have a long reliever, so we can dispel that myth. No one tonight pitched more than 2 innings. That is not long relief.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Sorry Always, I thought that was a DAVEW Quote I think I can take it if Dave can. But I went and checked myself ... no, I said nothing about O'Rourke during the Yankees series. I didn't check to see if Dave did. Pretty much all I said was this: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m910ck9Msb1rrcc1go1_500.gif And I'll say it again. USAFChief, LaBombo, blairpaul715 and 1 other 4

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Honest question: How did Dick Bremer get this job? He is terrible and seemingly has an IQ hovering 100.I get how Bert did, but Bremer, what blackmail does he have on the Pohlad family?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Jacob Rasch@serious_jammageDick Bremer just intimated that Erick Aybar was serving as a translator in a mound conference with Hector Santiago, who is from Newark. USAFChief 1
blairpaul715 Verified Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 No, no it isn't at all.Sure it is, they both gave up grand slams, and Trout is better than Rodriguez. Both were high leverage situations, even tho this game was in the 2nd, it was a very important at bat..............now with that said, again, i didnt want Achter in there, and I would have preferred Graham, but the same result could have happened.

Graham likely also doesn't give up a 2 run bomb an inning later to an average player at best. Bringing in Achter was dumb enough, but to leave him in the next inning? WTF man? It's September, you don't need to "save" the pen. Edited September 18, 2015 by DaveW

blairpaul715 Verified Member Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 No, no it isn't at all.I will say , this one was an easy second guess, because everyone and their mother knew that this was not a situation for Achter, other than Darnell and O'Rourke, anyone else was better.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Jacob Rasch@serious_jammageDick Bremer just intimated that Erick Aybar was serving as a translator in a mound conference with Hector Santiago, who is from Newark.Given the New Jersey education system, he was probably translating English.
