Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Some of the best posts I have ever read have been by this intelligent breed - and you can get them for cheap. http://cdn0.theawl.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/BestSeaMonkAdPic-e1309271648169.jpegThat reminds me of Marvel Comic magazine ads from the late 70's-early 80's. Nice memories.

Now I am feeling a little sickened and guilty that I bascially feed my fish frozen sea monkeys twice a week

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Reminds me of a particularly strange (and perhaps repugnant) episode of South Park. You're not narrowing it down very much...

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Can we order up some insurance runs, please?Teams have saved 15% or more on insurance runs by switching to (fill in the blank).
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Plouffe is frustrated.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I've had a bad food day today. My Boys drained my Frig last weekend but I had some Hamburger and Helper so I didn't go shopping last night. So I browned the hamburger... and I drain and go to the next step... cup and a half of water... Boom... Pour the water in... and then I realize that I didn't have any milk. I wasn't going to run to the store... I've got meat in a skillet full of water and I've got very few choices to fix this. So I grab some Rotini and throw it in... I had Eggs and I threw them in... I had some cheese and I threw that in. I actually convinced myself that it would be Ok... Well it wasn't... it was terrible... but at least I saved the box of Helper and I can do it right it some other time. Then I had Below Average Fried Chicken from the Supermarket for supper. I gotta do better tomorrow somehow.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 He doesn't know what uniform he will be wearing next year - may be wearing on him.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 You're not narrowing it down very much... OK.. This is the New Post of the Night.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I posted it twice because I'm trying to get to 13,000 posts by September. Actually... It was a glitch with my computer or this site. You can fix that, you know.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 You can fix that, you know. Don't tell me there is a no double post button on page 7 of my personal settings in small print in the bottom left corner underneath the ad for a credit union.

spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Cool item: Torii Hunter's first MLB game was 18 years ago tonight in Baltimore.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Lol, no ... you can just delete the 2nd post At work... As you can surely imagine. The IT Guy just laughs and laughs and laughs at me.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 At work... As you can surely imagine. The IT Guy just laughs and laughs and laughs at me. So what does it say to you when a non-IT person laughs at you?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Doesn't it seem like the Twins should be ahead by more than one run?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 So I was getting pretty worried about Mrs Chief's hearing...it just seemed to me that she wasn't hearing as well as she used to. I thought I'd talk to my doctor about it, and see if it was normal, or anything to worry about. He told me to try and learn just how bad her hearing had gotten. "Stand 50 ft away, and ask her something. See if she can hear you. If not, move ten feet closer, and try again. Keep going till she answers, then get back to me. Soooo, tonight I tried it. I stood 50 feet away and asked her "what's for dinner?" Nothing. So I moved 10 feet closer, and tried again...nothing. I kept this up till I was 10 feet away, at which point Mrs Chief turned to me and said, "Geez, for the fourth time...CHICKEN!"
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Osmo moves the sections around depending on the work being performed. That's what i figured. Though i imagine an orchestra could settle on a particular lay out by default as the most common... And yeah, i was assuming from an audience view point, as a reasonable default. It's been a long time since i was involved with a Minnesota orchestra, and i think it was junior high school...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I am sure he is laughing with you -- respectfully.. Yes... He respectfully laughs with me while shaking his head while slapping his hand on his knee and tears rolling down his face while he tries to compose himself just to get the words out in a very high pitched voice... respectfully.
