I don't know where the violins counting as two sections come in, but since we're talking about violins ...

I think that's a battle of many A's.

Third string against third string (choosing to interpret it counting string sections, rather than individual strings, as most folk think of different instruments...)

(Yeah, i know chief, i'm explainin'... it's a bad habit o' mine... comes from tryin' to understand, i think.)

Since I don't live in Hawaii, no.

Spam always looks like a good idea when you look at it in the aisle of the supermarket.

That idea becomes bad when you realize that you just bought a whole can of it.

But, my dear, in Minnesota it goes 1st violin, cello, viola, 2nd violin. And, as explaining is your thing, I said A because ... you know ... the third string on a violin ....

Has anyone ever seen a fielder drop a fly ball in foul territory because there was no chance to throw out a runner tagging at third? And take their chances on the next pitch? I never have, but perhaps it has happened. Does this count as an exciting questions??!!

??

A whole can is just too much. The first couple bites of Spam is interesting... After the third bite... You want to drive down to the Hormel Plant and set it on fire.

Yes, and I for one haven't seen it before.

But it would just smoulder.

Explanation appreciated. Also, now I know why you posted that twice ... to demonstrate that after the first few bites it becomes a little more than interesting. Am I correct?

The only time I've seen it is when I did it. Tie game last inning. The Runner on third would have ended the game.

I got to the ball and let it drop.

The Pitcher then walked the winning run in and we lost anyway and the pitcher blamed me afterwards.

It's weird that I've never seen it in an MLB game. The circumstance you describe sounds reasonable enough, and one would think it would happen now and then.

And then he registered for Twinsdaily?

You just have to develop an appetite big enough to eat the can in two bites...

I have fond memories of it as a camping food.

I'm going to post for a third time in a row because I'm over 11,000 comments behind Brian.

Brian, when did you start commenting, and when did TD start existing?

TD started... I don't know... 2011? Maybe.

I just started commenting last month. Before that it was just an infinite number of monkeys and typewriters experiment.

Not an interesting baseball question but had a fun day. My nephew and his girlfriend are both in the cast of 'The Music Man' at the Guthrie, and after the matinee much of the extended family went out for Thai food just as the storm was beginning.

The amazing thing about the number of Brian's posts is that all but two or three of them have greatly contributed to the thread that they were posted.  Almost every post has been of great substance and on-point.  I think there were a couple of ones that missed the mark in June 2014, but other than that -- every post has been premium.

That's the only scenario where you should do it. Otherwise take the out whenever you can get an out.

Saw it last weekend - the cast put on a good show.

I'm actually intrigued by this. Is that the lay out from left to right?
