Way to get out of your own mess, Carly Rae.

Now let's hope that Perkins has taken his medication for that closer disease he's had the last couple of weeks.

Everyone watching fb?

Nope, on the patio also, smoking meat, and getting ready to grill some salmon.

Well done, Plouffe. I actually just glanced at the screen, saw it was Plouffe, and said to myself that a home run would be great right about now. I should do that more often.

All of you are free to believe me, but the ESPN game account was stuck on a 2-and-oh count for Trevor and before the next pitch, I said to myself, "Oh he got all of that one! It's outta here to left centerfield! Touch 'em all, Trevor Plouffe!"

Timely.

What do I owe you to disbelieve you?

Are these games more enjoyable for everyone when we get decent pitching, just enough hitting, and are in a position to win? Definitely an improvement over 17-4 losses.

Wow, haven't seen the Twins do a squeeze play in ages. Is Nunez our SS for the remainder of the season? He's looking really good lately.

I didn't exactly call Plouffe's homer, but I did say out loud to myself, "You getting ready to hammer one, Trevor?" Something about that quiet stalking look on his face...

A good story. Seems like the right currency for these sorts of transactions...

Hm, well, I'm feeling unimaginative at the moment so you'll have to content yourself with something from the great archives of my superior frontal gyrus:

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance — Particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed, Desperate

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, While Husband 1.0 is an Operating System.

Please enter the command: “http: I Thought You Loved Me.HTML” and try to download Tears 6.2 and don’t forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.

Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources). Also, do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program.

These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance

We recommend Food 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck,

Tech Support

I've been noticing that Perk hasn't been throwing his hard slider lately. Oblique strain? Sore elbow?

Now he threw a slider at 84...nicked the outside corner for a pop up. But he used to throw those sliders almost a third of the time, and he used to go hard in on righties.

Wonderful metaphor...

Alas so many of those things probably need to be backwards compatible to products predating version control...

And if only everything were open source, you wouldn't have to be dealing with tech support (not that it would be any easier, considering documentation)

Anyway ye olde game is over and we can count i among the forks!

Good win. Now let's go kick some Yankees asses

Do Yankees have them?

I'd rather tip their cows, if we must abuse livestock, but i'm not sure they got them either, what with bein' a metropolis and all.

Okay, i'll settle for taunting the contents of their bullpen. hey pitcher pitcher pitcher! My gramma can throw harder than that!
