sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Small sample size. I will be surprised if he finishes the season above .375. Yeah, Sano. Hit a large sample size this at bat.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 CRARko, In all your 1776 posting, I don't think I saw one of my favorites. (Especially appropriate for me this year with my obsession with our National Bird.)Since it's quiet in here, I'll indulge myself with my tribute to Independence Day. We're waiting for the chirp, chirp, chirpOf an Eaglet being bornWaiting for the chirp, chirp, chirpOn this humid Monday morning in this Congressional Incubator. Lord knows the temperature's hot enough to hatch a stone but will it hatch an egg. Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 OPS, 2015:Suzuki: .606Herrmann: .554 Sano: .500 Chief will be updating these numbers as the night progresses
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 who knew sano would be a .500 hitter?
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Bert and Richard attempting to justify their stance on giving away outs.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Chief will be updating these numbers as the night progresses three for seven. Can't do the math in my head, but if he can keep up that pace, I'll get out a calculator before the playoffs. EDIT: three for six, I had it right pregame: .500

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Nice to see Hicks pick up the RBI.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 Gosh I hope this game doesn't come down to bullpens.
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Mr. Sano looks a world more comfortable already than young Mr. Buxton did, in this handful of ABs. So great to see him laying off nasty sliders, and going the other way. I missed his double tho- damn you, sizzling bacon that needed turning just then!!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Did someone say bacon?? I'm hungry.
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Whew- loud foul from Cain. I'm hoping he can't score All-Star Omar Infante from 3rd...
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Gosh I hope this game doesn't come down to bullpens.Looking pretty likely.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Does Milone come out for the 6th?
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Good battle w/ Milone and Cain there. Sad, tho, more pitches means more of a chance we'll have to dip into our vaunted bullpen. (says silent prayer)
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 hard to see milone as the odd man out -- especially when considering his otherworldly stint at aaa.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Does Milone come out for the 6th? Does Rosario catch another liner? Does Sano hit yet a larger sample size? Tune in next inning. Same bat time... Same bat channel.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 It's quiet around here. It's almost like it's a holiday weekend or something.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Does Milone come out for the 6th?meyer time?
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Nice catch of that popup by Omar Infante. Handled that like a true All-Star.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 Go ahead, Guthrie. Challenge Sano.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 The high and inside pitch is always hard to lay off on 0-2 count, unfortunately.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 We didn't make them regret the errors of their ways... Oh well. Keep up the pitchin' and the fieldin'.
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Ooops- Mr. All-Star Omar Infante looked a little less starry on that one. Sorry, I'm just pissed at the ridiculousness of this all-KC AL roster. When Mike Moustakas gets nearly as many votes as Bryce Harper- well, time to sort out the stupid net-voting thing.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Dick n Bert were rattling on about Gibson and the confidence shown to Gibson last night, blah blah blah. Dick n Bert were being kind. It wasn't confidence in Gibson so much as it was lack of confidence in the bullpen.
David HK Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Gosh, it's nice to see outfield D from guys in Twins uniforms.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Got through 6, over 100 pitches, my guess is Milone is done. Can't complain about that start. He's earned the right to stay in the rotation, IMO.
