I think what this really measures is perception of an offseason so far among most bettors. The perception is that the Twins road has got tougher, regardless of their signings, I think.

Every other team in the AL Central (other than the White Sox) got worse as well. FWIW I think the Twins have a much better shot to compete then the Astros, Diamondbacks and Phillies.

Bookmakers claiming they're losing money because the underdog won, lol.  Always makes for a great headline.  Smart marketing.

Baseball can be a strange game at times. If the Twins win the WS in 2015, it wouldn't be the first time something happened that was beyond the scope of reality in MLB.
