it has been speculated that the Twins would end their affiliation with NB when the contract expired because the rock cats had difficulty getting the city to build them a ballpark. It was speculated that the rock cats would move to hartford

For how many years now has Detroit been hamstrung, or at least pork medallion strung, by its bullpen? It's not like they don't know it or haven't done anything about, but they're still bad.

 

ERA is somewhere between 'quick and dirty' and 'instant and filthy' as a way to evaluate bullpens, but the fact that Detroit ranks only above Colorado, Houston, and ChiW in that stat... Still?  Really?
