stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 All right, Mauer. Tying run on, lead run at the plate, put one in orbit. Or more likely, take a walk so Vargas can fan.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 That's easy "Play The Field Nude Girls" C'mon... You gotta make this harder. Pinto Talks Funny Near Gardenhire?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Gotta ask, Chief, is your part of the state under the gun for a deluge? We were under full scale hell and damnation watch for like three days. Literally, schools cancelled and everything. As of this moment, which is right in the middle of what was forcast to be the worst of it, we've gotten about a quarter inch of drizzle off and on over the past 24 hours. Right now the sun is breaking through. pffft.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Sconnie and I have been camp counselors there for four years now. We call it Camp Too Late, for short. We had a lot of young kids come up this summer but other than this guy Danny, Eddie, and a kid we call "little Kenny", we didn't give any of the kids any playing time........bingo!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 , and a kid we call "little Kenny".OMG, is he still alive? Picture him being eaten by a bear... in his bunk.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Make it look easy, Eduardo.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Make it look easy, Eduardo.Apparently it's ok to sit on your @ss for a half hour every day in spring training, as long as you practice throwing to first from that position.
GCTF Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Three up three down. How'd that happen?

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Pinto didn't get a start against the White Sox. Fryer did, though. BTW...where are you watching the game? That's Right... He was DH on Sunday. I am watching the game at my house... Under neath the kitchen sink.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 That's more exciting than mine, which is that Gardenhire was driving a certain model of Ford from his home town on OK back to UT Austin, it died right in front of a biker bar in a small Texas town, and it all went reeeally downhill from there...My theory, which is still a work in progress, I admit, as that it all boils down to the difficulty of turning "Josmil" into something which ends in "-see."
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 not that you asked, but.... I'm in the, "it's too late to salvage a good team this year, but if the Twins play rookies for the duration of 2014 they'll be better in 2015" camp Bingo

GCTF Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Have you gone to any AFL games? If so, which stadium experience would you recommend? He was probably at the first Broncos/Chargers game.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Have you gone to any AFL games? If so, which stadium experience would you recommend?Made it up there last year for a couple. All the stadiums are in the Phoenix metro area, and all of them are really nice, they use spring training stadiums and they're all mostly pretty new. I plan on taking in 3 games Oct 9-11, in case anyone's thinking of attending...you might want to avoid those dates. Of course, Ashburyjohn will be there as well, so you might want to put up with me being there in order to get the benefit of John's witty banter. Or is it banty witter? Whatever.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 He was probably at the first Broncos/Chargers game.Good one. I'm actually living in Tucson, so I think I'll go up to Phoenix for an AFL game.
