Just for clarification... I'm not saying I agree with it. I'm just saying I respect it.

 

As for... Are the twins better with Pinto or Suzuki? I don't know that answer but I really like Pintos bat.

It's pretty clear from the lack of playing time that Pinto is little more than an afterthought in the Twins plans going forward, at least to Gardy, and apparently not enough of a point of emphasis for Ryan to tell Gardy to get him in more.  Even Fryer has gotten a start at Catcher since the call-up date.

 

And so much for Santana getting some major SS immersion in September.  Santana is actually playing in CF tonight, yet again, over not one, but two players who have played almost exclusively in CF for their entire professional careers.

Just taking a stab in the dark here... Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm with RB on this. For better or worse (I think worse), Gardenhire believes that Suzuki is the superior alternative to Pinto. After probably his biggest slump, Zuke has come back nicely lately.

he might be, probably is, but what do you gain by playing a guy that you know what you have?thats the baffling part about Gardy, lost season, Hicks doesn't play CF and Santana doesn't play Ss and Pinto doesn't play catcher, when we are all pretty sure what we have in Zuke and Esco. Esco is young, but well established

As to Pinto, it would be a lot easier to buy Gardy's "integrity of the game" excuse if he had found a way to play Pinto at catcher in the White Sox series just this past weekend, which, if I'm not mistaken, even included a doubleheader, pretty much necessitating Suzuki take a seat at least once.

Sconnie and I have been camp counselors there for four years now. We call it Camp Too Late, for short.

 

We had a lot of young kids come up this summer but other than this guy Danny, Eddie, and a kid we call "little Kenny", we didn't give any of the kids any playing time........
