Well, I was wondering what I was going to do before the home run derby. Now I have an answer. I'm going to probably be there.

Steve, this sure seems like a good reason to extend to a 3-day weekend.

 

It would actually be extending a 3-day weekend in to a 4-day weekend, since we're coming up on Friday. Even then, I'd do it if it were just me, but I'll have 6 members of my family making the trip and most of them don't have the schedule flexibility that I do, unfortunately.

Flying solo, I'd be there. However, it may take a bit to convince the wife... I already pulled the "All Star Game as our vacation" trick off, anything else might be greedy. :P

 

I'll do my best. Sounds like it'll be fun.

I'm going to at least drink an ounce of beer for every home run. Probably two ounces per.

I was just reminded that my wife's birthday is Monday. I wanted to remind her we will be together for many years, but this is a once in a lifetime meetup, but that seemed like a bad idea.

Ill also be be working at Fan Fest all week (outside of game times) over at the negro leagues exhibit at the Minnesota Black Baseball table!! We're located on the left side of the room close to the big baseball diamond. Little redhead with her arm in a cast. Come say hi!!

We'll see what our plans turn out to be......kind of depends on our oldest son's ability to get out of work by dinner time.
