Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Looks like six isn't going to be enough. We're going to need at least six to win this.
James Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 That's nothing a psychologist or a sub-machine gun can't fix.I keep expecting him to offer up some kind of crazy meat. "You cooking chicken tonight... Or, human?"
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 So Arcia, what to do? Maybe he should randomly take up switch hitting and then abruptly abandon it......in Rochester. //hat tip to ash//
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 So many strange foods, that I always ask myself "who was the first person to eat it?" Please try not to eat already eaten food. My dog does that.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 So many strange foods, that I always ask myself "who was the first person to eat it?". And what came first, the watermelon or it's seed? And who first put his old frig in his garage? Back to the game, GO TWINS!!!!! Why are we wondering... Chief can answer all these questions.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The Sumerian written language and the associated clay tablets are among the earliest human writings. Scholarly works from the early 1800s onward have developed some facility translating the various Sumerian documents. Among these is a poem with the English title, "A hymn to Ninkasi." The poem is, in effect, a recipe for brewing beer. A translation from the University of Oxford describes combining bread, a source for yeast, with malted and soaked grains and keeping the liquid in a fermentation vessel until finally filtering it into a collecting vessel. Seems fitting.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Too many wasted outs on the pads. I hope it doesn't come back to bite 'em.

I am hoping someday they find the lost written sources of baseball's unwritten rules.

James Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Dick suggested that if Perkins were unavailable today, Duensing may take over. If that happens, I'm going to need to find a brick wall to hit my head against.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Make short work of them Casey, so that the big boppers don't bat in the ninth.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Zuke is getting roughed up today. I'm just glad Fryer isn't DHing. / because he isn't a good hitter
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Who pitches the ninth? Nobody for the White Sox, I hope.
