That should count as two errors on Dozier.

The runner at second would've been safe even if Dozier didn't drop it, so just an error on the throw (in the direction of) home. Really on Santana for not just making the play at first, Torii isn't really a burner down the line at this point.

Torii would have been out by 3 or 4 steps if Santana had made the correct throw, and the inning over. That being said, I'm happy Santana is starting at SS.

Santana took a good route on that bloop to center. Turned in the right direction, looked over his shoulder and chased it down. Hicks should be taking notes.

The ruling of FC/E-4 made all the runs against Gibson to be earned runs. Tough break for him.

Not really a tough break. An equalization of luck for a groundball pitcher who isn't keeping the ball on the ground. The dude is a gas can waiting for a match to be dropped.

Tough statistical break, but not really an excuse for giving up a 3 run HR following the error. I really don't like those kind of runs being labeled "unearned" just because the error happened with 2 out.

Eh, it's not a tough statistical break because Gibson has been playing with fire all season. He's not missing bats, hasn't been particularly good at keeping the ball on the ground recently, yet had a good ERA. One could argue that he had a few "bad breaks" coming because he was a lot worse than his numbers indicated.
