'Respectable OPS 78+' Be honest Ted... there is no way you wrote that with a straight face! The other option instead of Margot was 'none of the above, save money for pitching, and let the kids play' THAT was the correct option.

    This...this...aaaaaaaaaaand.... THIS!

With all due respect, in the history of professional sports, there has never been a team that reported being unhappy with their draft the day after.... :)
  5. D.C Twins
He was my FIRST favorite Twin as a kid.... but was eventually replaced by some guy named Kirby Puckett.
  6. D.C Twins
Yikes... after seeing Festa and Raya's performance last night, I had to re-read Seth's article on prospect non-linear progress.....
  7. D.C Twins
Whatever computer algorithm is spitting out Margot as the leadoff hitter this year needs to be discarded... no explanation necessary.
  8. D.C Twins
As predicted by myself and others at promotion.... Lee is here to stay and it feels good to say.
  9. D.C Twins
    Ryan an absolute MUST!
  10. D.C Twins
By all accounts, Farmer is a great teammate. But, the opposing team is now treating him like a pitcher in the line up strategically which hurts the entire team's offence. He has to be cut sadly
  11. D.C Twins
Jenkins getting comfortable.... get ready for him to go on a big heater!
  12. D.C Twins
Well played sir.... well played indeed!
  13. D.C Twins
More. Bullpen. Arms. At. Trade. Deadline.....
  14. D.C Twins
Varland to bullpen... optimize two pitches and build toward being a key piece in the pennant race
  15. D.C Twins
The pattern over the past 1+ year would argue against dumb luck.... It could be just the way he is built, but that should be the conclusion only AFTER a full review of his stretch and strength regiment.
  16. D.C Twins
Me thinks that Lee is up to stay....
  17. D.C Twins
    Ugh.... mandatory looooong stretch routines!
  18. D.C Twins
The picture for this story reminds me that we need to appreciate Buxton in CF... every. single. day. it. happens.
  19. D.C Twins
Did I miss a Jenkins injury?
  20. D.C Twins
Brian Dinkelman deserves a promotion to make sure the Twins don't lose him from their organization. Cedar Rapids has significant turnover as high-level prospects get promoted and his teams just keep on winning.
  21. D.C Twins
Castro has been a revelation for us. What his is contract situation again? Arbitration years left? Given his hitting, versatility and clubhouse presence... I'm starting to think that we need to prioritize him a bit more for future plans.
  22. D.C Twins
This is a well thought out and presented article. We definitely need some more bullpen help, so if there was a real difference maker to get in return... I'd be open to that. It is a hard NO to trading for prospects during a playoff run
  23. D.C Twins
Much better put than my post :) Oh... and for transparent historic perspective.... I was guilty of being VERY down on Royce when he had that year in the minors with a HIGH SO/BB ratio..... (probably why I still have not gotten the call to apply for assistant to the assistant GM)
  24. D.C Twins
His proper full name is: ROYCE F-ING LEWIS! (most electric Twins player since Kiiiiiiiiirbyyyyyyyyyy Puckett)
  25. D.C Twins
The whole world needs more ROYCE F-ING LEWIS!
