    Can't complain about managing a win with 3 runs on 4 hits while giving up only 2 runs on 8 hits.

    I would have liked to see Correa have a few games in St. Paul to warm back up.... Not an inconvenience for him. Better to have the first few stinker AB there than here. But then again.... perhaps the FO thought the CWS were essentially the same as an AAA team so why bother :)

    Have to start with beating the bad teams consistently first.... mission accomplished so far.... next step is to parlay that confidence into playing better against the big boys....

    After seeing him in the post season, I was really bullish on him this year. Alas, so far, it appears that I got a little too wrapped up in a small bullpen sample size.... it happens :)

    So... we have established that Raya is a great bullpen prospect.... ... as for a SP prospect... we won't know until he actually practices doing SP like things... AA seems like a place where people should have started to do SP like things if the plan is for them to be a SP in the MLB. Until then..... still a bullpen prospect... sorry...

    Overall... totally agree. Last night though, he didn't do himself any favors averaging ~20 pitches an inning. He needs to get more efficient to start long term. But again... overall.... totally agree

    Wow... the CWS are one baaaaaaaad baseball team. Good thing they evened out the schedules because the East would go bonkers if we got to play them more.

    The FO has made some nice trades and draft picks during their run, but this offseason was a complete disaster. Pay for another SP or a bunch of washed bench players? Wait until the first IL trip from Lopez, Ryan, or Ober and we will REALLY see the fallout of the terrible decisions made this offseason.

    Injured hitters will be back over the next month or two..... there are no such reinforcements coming for SP. We are one SP injury away (Lopez, Ryan or Ober) from this entire season bottoming out. If it does, it is going to be hard to 'pass' the White Sox for the #1 draft pick as they seem committed setting the MLB season loss record this year.
