  1. I don't think the players are blameless, but I agree that it's largely on the ownership side. Especially when they won't open their books enough to actually analyze how much cash is actually being made.
  2. This seems far too logical. And MUCH to logical for MLB to adopt it.

    75 RBI or 75 RBIs?

    RBIs seems redundant to me.

Big hitter, the Llama. Rob Deer wasn't bad either.
  5. Given the injury history of all of the starters, plus the current usage of them, coupled with the fact that even before the injury bug really bit the rotation, they were already scrambling at times to fill a starting slot. That's not going to be fixed in one offseason. Realistically anyway. And as the last two seasons should have taught all of us, you can NEVER have too much depth. And even if everything played out perfectly and you can't get everyone enough innings, that allows you to trade from that depth to acquire something else of need. There simply isn't a thing called "too many starting pitchers".
  6. Not according to anything he's ever offered me!
  7. He's one of those unsung players that good teams need. He can play adequately at multiple positions and not be a liability at the plate. He's not going to win awards, but bit players like him are important. After everything that he went through on his journey to the Show, I'm happy to see him doing well. I don't know how long it'll last, but I'll enjoy it for as long as it does.
  8. Never would have guessed that they'd do that to dogs, so that's pretty cool!
  9. Given his interest in what happened and communication with the front office at the trade deadline makes for an interesting prospect of him returning. He acted as though he had a vested interest, not just for this year, but also for the future with his comments regarding Miranda. I'd like him to stay, if for no other reason than there isn't another answer at SS right now.
  10. Beckham with the walkoff. As expected.
  11. Ok, Polanco. Time to get off the schneid.
  12. Polanco needs to break this RBI-less stretch...
  13. In fairness, it's also no longer a 3-run lead.
  14. How many karaoke bars have you been banned from for that?
  15. I'm...I'm okay with that! But that's not how the song goes!
