    I haven’t really paid attention to the numbers tbh. Personally, I think our 2019 season has created the wrong kind of expectations in regards to what is entertaining. While fun to watch a team hit tons of home runs, I find interest in a lot of other aspects of the game and want that balance. But for me being disappointed and frustrated with the hitting and play on the field and the outcome is different from being bored. Maybe what you are bored with is being disappointed too often. Oh the ennui. But isn’t baseball kind of … well, there just isn’t a lot of action sometimes. A great play here and there, a burst of something, then a lot of waiting for another great play and a burst of something. That is kind of the nature of the sport. But I still don’t find it boring, I’m sorry that you do. 🙂

    I’m not trying to convince you because it’s subjective. I don’t find it boring. But I also don’t watch every game because of my schedule and life things, but when I do, I’m not bored. I’m disappointed and frustrated when they lose games, especially so because their offense is as bad as it is, but no, I’m not bored. If I were, I’d turn it off and do something else. That, for me, is the best way to register complaint to the FO for a product that is unacceptable … don’t watch and don’t spend money on it until it is. But, that said, not every player is going to be Duran. If you are expecting that, then I think you could be bored for the rest of your baseball watching days. I will add the pitch clock has helped immensely in this regard.

    So don’t watch. It’s that simple. If you aren’t entertained as you expect to be, turn it off and find something else. I do do that from time to time. Yes, I find the offense frustrating, disappointing and maddening. More so because the potential is there and the players themselves are underperforming, I’m always hopeful it’s different and disappointed when it’s not. But I am not bored.

    It’s an athletic event not a Broadway show. I’m not sure what you found boring. Maddeningly frustrating, yes, but I don’t find it boring, even when the offense is so what it is,

    Ober will be up to START not be in the pen. They have an open spot Sunday, and I'm guessing he comes up? And either Maeda to the IL or Headrick down

    I think when Winder is ready, and he appears to be close, he will be long relief, and/or relief in some capacity. It was the role he was going to fill last season until we had too many injuries to our starting rotation. And given his shoulder/injury issues, I don't see him destined to be a starter at this point. But ... this is just my opinion and based on nothing but it's just what I think will be. As for Ober, Varland and RSW, they will get their opportunities to start, either injury replacement or as an occasional 6th starter to give the rotation an extra day here and there. And, I see that Sunday's game, the pitcher is listed as 'tbd', and that would be Ober's day to start in St. Paul (I think), will be be inserted there? Of course, some of this will depend on Maeda, if he winds up on the IL or if they will wait and see. IF Maeda goes on the IL, I think Ober is up in his place. Headrick I think gets swapped out for Winder or Sands, and that will likely be the rotation there between the Twins BP and AAA.

    Gordon wouldn't be backups there, too? Or Solano? I mean ... when Gallo is back up, Solano isn't playing first, so ... Castro is expendable. imho.

    Well, that changes things ... I had thought he might stay on the 26-man because having no options remaining. Glad to know they now have the flexibility to send him down when the returnees arrive. That said ... Gordon needs to find a way to figure it out, and soon.

    Yeah, I think he will stay until all those with options are sent down first and/or someone gets traded or jettisoned.
