    I don’t get it either. But we live in a current climate where there is no consequence for those who do truly bad things while preying on others. Buying a ticket doesn’t give you the right to be that horrible. The entitlement some feel is just wrong. Mental health has always carried a stigma, wrongfully so. Now someone who came forth with their own issues, maybe giving some strength to face their own issues, wonders if he should have stayed silent. Twins fan or not, I hope that fan is not allowed back into the stadium for a while

    I get what you are saying but then why use it. Honestly, if we are going to get into the territory of ‘let the really close ones go’, it gets too subjective. What’s too close? Everyone has a different opinion. Then you start getting into measuring fractions and what fraction still counts as a strike and what doesn’t? I think the system is working. It evens the playing field for everyone. No more unintentional biased calls for or against a specific team or player.

    Fun series. I’ll enjoy whatever wins and/or sweeps that come our way. But it doesn’t turn the hope around. We still are what we are and if we outperform another team on occasion, that’s baseball.

    Since you didn’t like the thumbs down, I’ll tell you why I gave you one, and others. Your comment lacked any concern or empathy and went straight to blame the person. It’s likely because he was a good athlete he didn’t think he needed a life jacket to take a dip in the water. He learned a valuable lesson and I’m grateful tragedy was avoided. Many times it isn’t.
