    Ok that's just icky
  2. Squirrel
Oh yeah. An old lady tackling two hillbillies will make web gems for years to come
  3. Squirrel
Oh wait ... I'm surrounded by White Sox fans ... pfffft
  4. Squirrel
Omfg they are doing the wave. I must not be at a baseball game

Way to increase Liriano's trade value, Drew. Good God this is awful. Yay for me being at my first game of the season
  6. Squirrel
Well if we can't seem to capitalize on bases loaded no outs might as well get it this way. It's hot out here

Haven't really been ... but when you get the chance, a trip to Springfield (which isn't that far away) to see the Lincoln Library/Museum is well worth it. And when coming to Chicago, if you can, take the train and avoid driving into the city. We aren't that friendly to outlier drivers.

Hope to see a good game tonight ... first I've been to all year, sad to say, so I hope it's not a sad experience
  9. Squirrel
Maybe he'll keep using it until some of you get it.
  10. Squirrel
Maybe if you say this enough times people will actually read it and understand it. Ever feel like you are beating a dead horse?

I'll be at the game tonight and hope he pitches a 'lights-out' game. Yes, a fine performance would help his value and leverage for the Twins to get a good package for him, but for me, more importantly, more than any other team, I just hate losing to the White Sox. Hope this trade stuff doesn't make its way to his head in any way.
  12. Squirrel
    lol good to see you
  13. Squirrel
Well, whatever ... not gonna worry on it 'cause I know you'll figure it out. And how could you tell that was me from the avatar? I was like 3 or 4 and ready to face off in an old west gun battle wearing, incidentally, a 1965 AL Champs Twins shirt ... but you can't really see that. Sheesh ... can't believe my mom let me out in public like that. Anyway ... back for the game tonight ... it's time to get my nails done and buy more shoes!

Well ... for now I'm just assuming it's on my end as I'm on ATT dsl so who knows. But my hardware and software are up to date. Once in a forum, after refreshing, it seems okay, but slow, moving to the next page. It's mostly with that initial first page. (This is OLTF btw)
  15. Squirrel
I'm having the same difficulties ... having to hit refresh two or three times before all the page comes through. And I'm up to date on everything, using Firefox on my Mac.
  16. Squirrel
Hahaha ... I broke some serious silence laughing at that one.
  17. Squirrel
me too ... it kept me sane living amongst the 'enemy' here in near south chicago
  18. Squirrel
lol ... I thought the same thing

    =OLTF from BYTO

One word to that ... ugh. That will never supplant "We're Gonna Win Twins." At least I hope not.

It'll come down to who's hitting. I don't think Parmalee will spend much time out there unless Morneau takes over 1st again on a daily basis and I don't really expect that to happen. Revere's role should be as the true 4th outfielder. I think it will end up being mostly Doumit/Plouffe platoon.
  22. Squirrel
Just this. While I do think there is something in the Twins' heads when it comes to the Yankees, this article was just plain ridiculous.
  23. Squirrel
If a catcher is needed I'd rather see him get called up, then, than Butera.
  24. Squirrel
If they had wanted a 3rd catcher I'd rather they had gone with Towles. What happens to him? To Rochester?
